Dr. Solis strives for more than beautiful smiles and healthy teeth; improving overall wellbeing is his goal. His success is measured in loyal and satisfied patients, and their regular referrals.

The advanced dental techniques and technology he uses make possible a rewarding level of quality, value, and results. His extensive training in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry back this up. Dr. Solis sees the blending of art and science in dentistry as a significant advantage he can offer his patients. Dr. Ricardo Solis received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia. For his dental training, Dr. Solis went to the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where he graduated Cum Laude. After graduation, he also completed a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Frequently updating his knowledge of cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry with continuing education courses, means Dr. Solis is capable of achieving your goals. In recognition of his accomplishments in dental implant treatment he has been awarded Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is also a candidate for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Solis is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, Charlottesville Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Solis moved back to Charlottesville to practice dentistry, raise his family, and to be a part of a wonderful community. He enjoys watching all University of Virginia Athletics as well as playing softball, baseball, and basketball. Dr. Solis competes in local races and triathlons for his health and wellbeing. He likes to hike and camp and spend time with his wife and daughter.
